Suggested Answer: D Vote an answer
The common good approach to solving an ethical challenge asks the Question solution will best help advance the common good?" This approach considers what is best for society and the community as a whole and looks at the future of society. In contrast, a utilitarian approach considers the most good for the greatest amount of people while inflicting the least harm. While the group is considered, this approach considers both the individual and the collective whole. A fairness approach (also referred to as a justice approach) considers the solution that will treat all involved parties the same way. A virtue approach considers what the morally "right" decision might be from a character-building standpoint.
