For a subdomain such as www.contoso.com, App Service uses a TXT record named asuid.www whose value is the Domain Verification ID. The CNAME record is instead www → contoso.azurewebsites.net. Therefore option A appears incorrect as written: a CNAME named asuid does not contain the domain verification ID. Strictly speaking, option C should say asuid.www rather than simply asuid.
